Conquering Depression. Annapolis Half-day Meditation Retreat, Sat, Feb 29, @ 10am – 1pm

Depression is a common and often debilitating experience. This course teaches us how to lessen the sense of helplessness and hopelessness that accompanies depression. Buddha taught very gentle yet effective methods for working with the mind so that we make psychological and spiritual progress, and can more effectively help others who are suffering. We will learn how to transform our pain, so that we can find true happiness and peace. This class is ideal for those suffering from depression as well as for their family and friends.
