Mala and Mantra Workshop: Sat. March 4, 2017

gyaltsen-bigA mala is a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations. For Buddhist practitioners, a mala is a precious and meaningful sacred object. Kelsang Gyaltsen, who is very skilled in many types of Buddhist art, will give instruction on how to make malas and will help you to make one of your own. You can choose your beads from Gyaltsen’s fabulous selection or bring some of your own. He will also explain how to use a Mala to count Mantras, Buddha’s sacred speech.

Price:

$30 or $25 for early registration (by March 1st), students, seniors 60+, and unemployed.

$10 for members at student level and above.
