Meditations on the Stages of the Path (Lamrim) Retreat

These meditations are the building blocks of a method taught by Buddha for eliminating unhappiness in our mind and increasing our capacity for love and compassion.  As we become familiar with these meditations, our mind becomes stronger and experiences longer and longer periods of peace and happiness.  The meditations are organized in a sequence so that as we gain more understanding of the first one, it helps us to gain more understanding of the next one.  If we keep meditating on these and putting them into practice, eventually we can attain freedom from suffering and the lasting peace of a completely pure mind.

All sessions are guided, are 1 hour long, and include some short chanted prayers for meditation. The meditations on the Lamrim Stages of the Path to Enlightenment in How to Understand the Mind will be our reference.

Session Time:

9am, 11:30am, 4pm, 7pm (No 11:30am session on Wed; ends at 4pm on Thursday)


$5 per session, $15 per day.  Free for Student and Benefactor Level Members.
