How is it possible for something that exists only in our imagination to become a reality? It is a remarkable quality of the mind that we first create objects with our imagination and then bring them into our everyday reality. In fact, everything starts in the imagination. Through meditation, we can bring our wish for freedom from suffering and lasting peace and happiness into existence.
New Year, New Mind, New You
Happiness and suffering are feelings – parts of our mind – and so their main causes are not to be found outside the mind. If we really want to be truly happy and free from suffering we must improve our understanding of the mind and in this way take take control of our mind so we can eliminate our suffering and develop lasting happiness.
