Creating Balance in a Busy Life – The weeks of September 10 through October 8

Most of our daily problems arise from unbalanced minds such as uncontrolled desire and irritation.  If we learn to maintain a well-balanced mind our meetings with others will be pleasant, our friendships long-lasting and our mind will remain peaceful in the midst of our busy daily life.

  • Sept 12                   Inner Peace
  • Sept 19                   Keeping a Balanced Mind — equanimity
  • Sept 26                   Simplify Your Life — Contentment
  • Oct 3                       Working with Difficulties — Patience
  • Oct 10                     Kindness and Compassion in daily life

Taking Charge of Your Holiday Experience

  • Oct 16                     Giving thanks/Being Grateful
  • Oct 23                     Why family can be difficult for us
  • Oct 30                     Ending Family Drama
  • Nov 6                       Can’t live with them; can’t live without them
  • Nov 13                    Abandoning the Holiday Blues
  • Nov 20                    Giving joyfully – cherishing others

Loving others is principally an attitude of mind, and the way in which we express it depends upon the needs, wishes and situations of each individual, as well as our karmic connection with them.  If we make a special determination to cherish those with whom we are going to spend our time, and then put this determination into practice, our cherishing will be grounded and sincere. This will make our holidays harmonious and meaningful.

Everyone is welcome!
