In the fast pace of our work and personal lives our attention is easily scattered and our mind cluttered with endless distractions. Training in mindfulness gives us the power to overcome disturbing thoughts and to stay focused on what brings peace of mind and happiness both in and out of formal meditation. It is about the present moment, being in touch with it, not forgetting it, enjoying it. All of Buddha’s teachings, or Dharma, help us stay in touch with the present.
