Are you a worrier? Does anxiety interfere with your daily life? This is the workshop for you. We will examine how worry, anxiety and fear develop so that we can learn how to interrupt these exaggerated, tormenting thoughts. Each session will include a relaxing guided meditation that will help you soothe your mind, and with practice, allow you to develop the power to remain peaceful and worry-free even in difficult circumstances.

Teacher: Gen Kelsang Chogden is an American Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland. Her compassionate activities of teaching, guiding, and inspiring those around her are the result of her deep faith, clear wisdom, and heartfelt concern for others. Chogden has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for approximately 17 years under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s guidance and brings true sincerity and humility to her life as a spiritual teacher.
