Sat, Sep. 16- Sun, Sep. 17 @ 10:30am-5pm Practicing the Six Perfections in Daily Life with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

The six perfections are the main practices of a Bodhisattva, someone who has a strong aspiration to fully realize their own human potential in order to benefit others with their every thought and action.

This special intention has been called “the source of peace and happiness for all living beings.”  Through developing this extraordinary wish, our mind becomes expansive and peaceful, filled with love, and our daily problems disappear as we gain skill in practicing the perfections of giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, mental stabilization and wisdom.  We also gain a great ability to benefit others, leading them away from their own suffering and towards experiences of happiness and freedom

During this special weekend, Gen-la Khyenrab will teach on each of the perfections individually, and explain how to integrate them into our daily lives, resulting in greater peace and happiness for our self and others.

We are very happy to be welcoming Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab to Baltimore. As the retired General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, the National Spiritual Director of Canada, and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Canada, Toronto, he has a wealth of experience that naturally inspires practitioners to heart-felt experiences of Dharma. His powerful teachings and pure example reflect 35 years of reliance on his spiritual guide, study and meditation practice, and experience of unifying Kadam Dharma with his busy daily life.

Online registration is now closed.  Walk-ins are welcome but lunch availability cannot be guaranteed if you have not pre-registered.
SPACE IN THE MAIN MEDITATION ROOM IS LIMITED, but if this fills up we do have seating downstairs in our family videolink area.
