Buddha taught that all our past virtuous actions lead to happiness and all our past negative actions lead to suffering.Through the kindness of Vajrasattva, the Buddha of Purification, we have the opportunity to overcome our negative actions
(or karma) by sincerely applying the four opponent powers. In this retreat, we will gain experience of how to apply these powers, and by doing so, begin to remove both the causes of future suffering and obstacles to our spiritual development. As we purify our mind of negativity we naturally become happier and experience better conditions. With a steady practice of purification we eventually will become completely pure.
