THIS RETREAT IS BEING RESCHEDULED to the weekend of Oct 31st
PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES
Annoyance. Irritation. Impatience. Anger. Rage. All of these destructive states of mind can flare up in an instant like a wild fire. Anger immediately vindicates and advocates for harm, refuses to accept being wrong, and demands to always get its way.
Uncompromising, it robs us of our peace of mind and can even manifest as shouting and fighting that ultimately only exacerbates our problems. Patience, on the other hand, is a powerful mind of peace and resiliency that protects our self and others, and allows us to find solutions to life’s problems. When our mind is controlled by patience it is easy to develop our capacity to cherish and have compassion for everyone.
In this away retreat in the beautiful Western Maryland mountains, we will examine, discuss, contemplate, and meditate on the ineffectiveness of anger and the practicality of patience to find real peace within our hearts and minds. This deep dive into states of peace will profoundly relax and inspire, and with continual practice, will result in not only lasting changes in our behavior but also a happier and more harmonious life. Open to all levels of experience.
