We’ve all been longing for connection. So here it is!
NEW Thurs. evening meditation, followed by discussion. We can discuss the night’s meditation or ask Gen Chogden all our meditation and dharma questions.
This is the beginning of a series of classes designed to help you understand Tantric meditation and increase your motivation to practice Tantra, the quick path to enlightenment.
Whether you’re thinking about receiving Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments for the first time or have already received them but have an inconsistent practice, this is the course for you! Sometimes people don’t connect to a practice because they just didn’t understand it or misunderstand it. This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience.
The problems we face in life, which seem so solid and real, will disappear like last night’s bad dream when we apply Buddha’s teachings on emptiness, the way things actually exist as opposed to the way they appear. This view of emptiness, the dream-like nature of things, teaches us that we can overcome our fears and gradually become more peaceful, flexible, and creative. Eventually we will discover a profound inner peace in which our mind becomes permanently free from all distress and negativity.
Heart Jewel Prayers to Je Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugden are the heart essence of Kadampa Buddhism and many Kadampas do these prayers as part of their daily practice. Therefore we are offering the prayers here for you to use at your convenience (just click play on the video below).
When asked recently how we can best help the world at this time, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche advised us to pray to Tara.
Traditionally in the Kadampa tradition, we chant “Liberation from Sorrow” (Green Tara Prayers) on the 8th of each month.
We are offering these prayers for you to watch on the 8th or any time you want to pray for your welfare or the welfare of others.
